Mixing your track in a way that serves its purpose.

  • I mix with the intention of serving the music, not forcing it into a fixed template or overcomplicated technicalities. Every decision is based on feeling, the track’s identity, energy and intended context.

  • For artists, producers and labels with a near-finished track who want a coherent, release-ready result. Ideal if the idea is strong but the mix does not yet translate on the level of reference tracks you admire.

  • I like to define the main element(s) of the track. What translates the message/emotion of the track the best? That’s normally my starting point in the mix. The rest of build around that element. After finishing i’ll start playing the mix on different systems. When I’m happy with the result i’ll share it. Revision(s) are sometimes needed because mixing is based on taste.

  • Yes I do master my own club tracks. I’m comfortable with this context. I also like to work with master engineers because it can be good to have a fresh opinion, especially when im zoomed in on a mix.

Alongside mixing most releases for my duo Makèz, I occasionally mix for other artists who resonate with my style. Not limited to House, as long as the music carries Soul.

  • First the boring part. Send your stems in WAV, 24bit, sample rate 48.000 via a Dropbox or Google Drive link. Mention the BPM of the track. Send me 1-3 reference tracks if you like. And include a short note about your vision, intended release context and any specific concerns.

  • I develop the mix with a focus on clarity, energy and cohesion, based on your references and the track’s purpose.

  • You receive the first version and share focused feedback if needed. Aimed at meaningful improvements, not endless tweaks. One revision is always included in the service.

  • You receive the final mix (and master if agreed), optimized for streaming, club play and general listening, ready for release.

My mix Story

Within my duo Makèz, I naturally grew into the role through a fascination for the technical side of music and how sound decisions can strengthen emotion. Years of releasing, touring and studio work shaped my approach.

I am not a typical mix engineer. I avoid unnecessary technical complexity and focus on feeling, translation and intention. If the music asks for it, I am open to unconventional choices that better serve the emotional impact of the track.
